Ergotec ninja squeege - load of crap!!
« on: October 07, 2011, 05:33:52 pm »
 ???

HOW THE HELL CAN A COMPANY GET SOMETHING SO "SO" WRONG !!!???

Biggest load of crap I've ever bought. is that a good enough reson to get a refund ?

Doesn't fit into it's own special bucket on a belt

It's too heavy !!

it's too bulky

and to top it all off those end clips ar uttlery PATHETIC ""  :-[

you can't dry the blade or even just move it about without both popping open !!!

I JUST CAN't get my head around how a company can ever pass and sell a tool that's so crap in every possible way !!

any idiot actually like it !!?? i'd love to hear your views.

;D and before anyone tries to hard sell me WFP don't bother I'm all set already!!!

The extra weight is great on these handles they are so much better than the toy like original unger ones... They hold the glass so much better while using the poles also you can clean windows straight out horizontal with the aid of the outer channel which I bet you can't do with your old squeegee handles... The clips are fine if you take the time to get used to wiping your rubber without gripping the channels and popping them open..

For me I think there great handles just takes a week getting the hang of using them and you might see it different.

I bought 2 of the sodding things ::)
I really like the larger handle but-

I find it slows me down with all the detailing i'm having to do >:(

So far the people at unger have sent me 2 set of replacement end clips
because after 4 hours use they kept opening which was a pain in the butt.
When i spoke to unger they said no one else had this problem but personaly
i don't think they would be so willing to dish out the end clips FOC if it was just me
having this problem.

I'm seriously thinking of returning them, and the BOAB is rubbish too- ended up with a wet
leg when i used it :(

Perfect example of the case of........If something aint broken......tinker with it till it is. What on Earth is wrong with the simple ordinary squeegee? Soap on, soap off. Why buy a daft over complicated bit of overpriced mumbo jumbo when it's objective is to do such a simple thing?

;D yes I agree on the wet leg thingy but that's on my standard boab it tilts the sleeve in so your legs get wet...  I cut mine boab 2 inches down to balance the bucket and never had a wet leg since... I think there faster working tools once used to using them haha...
They will give you a refund on your items thou if your unhappy...

I don't get a wet leg with my normal boab even with a 22" apllicator.

Do i get a refund from unger or from the firm i bought from?

I know some guys actually use their BOAB as a bucket, as the name says, but I use it as a carrier and use a bottle on a belt to wet up. No wet leg and easier to work. I find this anyway. Have thought about trying the Ninja, but I use my unger14" and hardly ever need to detail.

As Ronnie said, if it aint broke..........

It's the extra weight of the handle making it top heavy...
Unger I'm guessing but not 100% on the refunds

Stick with what you're used to, i wish i had. UNGER ERGO TECH is king :D
I use my boab as a carrier too but this ninja one just throws the applicator forward and on to your leg=wet leg.
Gonna sort it tomorrow-its going back!!

Spot on Cozy.

And why are people wiping their squeegee? That's what the part timers do. There's no need.
