Spoke to a young lad yesterday with a pure freedom 250 trolley,never usedanything but tap water.I asked to see the results,he took me round the back of the cottages he was cleaning,the backs had dried and looked good.
how is this possible.

use tap water on your own windows and find out, make sure the insides are clean first, the parts that sheet will be fine but nothing else will, it will look fine from the outside, but sit on the inside and look out, now I agree certain windows can be a pain whether the water is pure or not, it is far worse with non pure water

And maybe what the tds`s are,maybe some just dry to a non stick powder that falls off the glass.Seems for a long time now that people running high tds by accident have reported  no probs and i sort of settled in my mind that up to 30 is absolutely ok,though i still go out with 000.Time for a few controlled experiments.

I use tap water, bleach and TFR everywhere.

it could of been that the windows where all ready clean,  ie monthly cleans  and there was hardly any thing on it

So by your experiment if I use a high flow rate then I could even use water out the canal, save me a fortune on resin
