New super portable - good or bad?
« on: October 29, 2005, 04:52:24 pm »
Has anyone used the new eclipse as yet. I really like the sound of it, what with the extra power, although I am wondering about the reliability - what with it being so new.

Does it run off normal household 240 volt, or do you need a genny? I am aware that Nick at Solutions has tested it, but has any cc's used one yet?

Also whats the cost with all the trimmings?

There are a few people on this forum with the eclipse, me included, its a fantastic machine, the extra power makes light work of the dirtiest carpets, and of coure the drying times are fantastic, reliability is not an issue,it is tried and tested, call nick at solutions for more info,he hasnt just tried it,he stocks them 8)

How does the Eclipse compare with the Scorpian 3? (is that the new postable as well?) Some say its as powerfull as a TM but in a portable packge. And how does it stack up against Prochems Steempro range? Will be looking into a portable shortly.

Cheers

You just can not put either the eclipse or the scorpion in the same conversation as a steempro!

Dave,

get onto your ISP or the poeple who are hosting your site.  They should have a tech support number for you to call.

It flashes your site but then switches to the copyright site so you could try uploading it again, from scratch - assuming you do your own of course... AND, did I get a glimpse of the old machine in the picture??

Hope this helps
