We get minus 15 to minus 20 here most winters. We mix screen wash at about 50/50 or more in cold water, as cold as you can get. Works down to minus 9 so far. If snow is on the ground, we only do downstairs at about half price. Got that tip off here a couple of years back off some crossdresser called Matt. ;)

If you work below minus 4 and use warm or hot water, it freezes on contact here. Not sure about UK, but mainland Europe has less humidity or something at low temps. That's what I think some expert explained on here last year.

In most of UK, you only get an average of minus 2 or 3 most of the winter, so you should be OK.

If it freezes on the glass in the winter, here at J.M.C.S we follow strict guidelines... Pack up and get down the pub.

I like that idea....especially if the pub is Wetherspoons, and with your pint is a full cooked breakfast!!

Im a newbie to reach and wash, with traditional we used to use normal water with no additives (other than soap, only because dont fancy other chemicals on my fairy green pinkies!!!), main windows we had trouble with was conservatorys and patio doors occasionally if it was down to 3 below.  Any colder and didnt bother trying even.  I work with wife so if slippery or icy she used to foot ladder for tops.  Now with WFP i think would probably work in similar temps, tho could do with hot water system really!  That is next years purchase....

If we buy it pure, we mix 1/6 if it's ready mixed, we try 1/3 or 1/2 or 1/1 untill it's stops freezing
