Both my son and myself use pocket George on our PDA's. They are setup in such a way that we can see each others work schedule and we have a combined debt list as we usually collect together. We have another cleaner joining us on Monday and I would like to get him a PDA as well. Please can someone remind me how to 'activate' his name so it appears on pocket George as well.

on the pda does it display all the rounds / customers you have or just the days work ?

i would hate to have it nicked with all of my customers details on it

Ian, when you install the software on the pda you have the option of how many days work in advance you will sync with the pda.
What I like best is that the pda shows the date the next call is scheduled for, and I don't have to spend 1/2 hour updating george when I get in.

Picked up the pda and cradle for a fiver on ebay too.

Thanks for the info Dave ...... can u change the option of how many days in advance ?? ......... already have a pda I nicked when i left motor trade - used to have glasses guide on it - just need to find cable for updates  ... sorry 1 last question how much does it cost .... have normal george already but guess its extra for pocket george ?

Pocket george is free and you can adjust the number of days ahead on George, 
It's probably just as cheap to buy a second hand pda on ebay with cable, cradle and software, as it will be to buy a new cable, you also need to download the pda sync software from palm, I think there are some problems if you've got 64 bit windows 7

Some of the really early versions are not compatible, the newer and slimmer they are the more they cost,

Have down loaded it on to palm but it show know data? when hot sync george sayys error!!any help

It will not hot sync with George open. Close george and try again.

You've got the program onto your PDA - so it must be syncing ok.

Did you do two hot syncs before running the configuration utility from the george website?

every time I try ,I get erro message from george

All I can sugest to do is to do a hard reset on your PDA and start again.

If that doesn't work - I'd email the George people
