Which van?
« on: October 29, 2005, 12:22:36 am »
Just wondering what vans tend to be the most popular amongst us cc's.
Please state which van you drive and whether you use Truckmount or portable as your method of HWE.

L.D.V.Maxus 120 2.5 turbo diesel long wheelbase, carrying Max 450 diesel with tanks and hose reel etc.
Advantages very lively even with weight of equipment, plus a very large side loading door allowing you to gain access either side of machine.
Price the same as long wheelbase transit, Dare to be different.   Ted

I have a Citroen Dispatch and use a porty. 2 side doors etc 36 mpg or more, have had three Alltec proplus in at once plus 3 techs and a rotary plus all the pipes etc.
I know quite a few use these as they are not too big for access. Just mended mine after meeting another car in the lane.

LWB transit with TM etc.

I like the van a lot and would recommend it.

Does 26mpg before the TM went into it.
