Had a call from a chap who had sprayed his woodburner in situ, in the lounge and got overspray on the carpet 
Arrived armed with a few chemicals to try and you could see they had tried, so asked the question, to which they said they had tried 1001 with a bissel !!!
Out come the citrus gel and we started to make a differance, after one full bottle lots of agittation, we cleaned the whole lounge.
"the bissell does'nt do a good a job as you"
"that has saved my bacon, as the Mrs was not impressed" I did comment on the good job he had made of the woodburner.
and with a £10 tip i went on my way....and knowing that he will be back in the Mrs good book.......made it all worthwhile

It just makes me laugh what people do in there living room...

Had a job on monday, bedroom carpet for a female celebrity. She made a right mess around her dressing table, makeup everywhere on the carpet. She showed me her brand new steam cleaner she bought from TV shop to sort it out, no need to say she could not achieve any improvement.
When we finished the carpet looked line new again, she walked around and said:
I feel like a fool now wasting money on that thing. Normally I am not so stupid.
Husband laughed and dissapeard quickly, then she booked us to do the whole house.
