Small van set ups?
« on: September 22, 2011, 07:20:12 pm »
Looking to put another van on the road, decided on either a transit connect or a vauxhall combo.

Anyone got any images of WFP set ups?

Looking at 4-500l one man set ups.

What you got?

If you want that size tank in a combo makesure you get a 2000 version for the payload

having had both a combo and transit connect t230 i would say get neither and go for a fiat doblo, the combo i had was unreliable in 6 months ecu failure throttle body engine blew up and coilpack failed so bought a fiat doblo, far better van, faster more comfortable far better driving position better on fuel.

the tranny i had for a bit was good much better than the combo but i defo prefer the doblo, mine has a 350 upright drives fine when full and still pulls like a train,

my combo handled like a boat even when empty but when it was full it dropped to the deck, the doblo hardly drops at all

here is my setup, 400 or 500l tanks would fit if you wanted one

its a 07 doblo cargo 1.9 multijet 135bhp 205lb ft averages 48mpg according to the computer
