water testing a conservatory roof
« on: September 21, 2011, 02:00:41 pm »
Hi All

How many of you water test a con roof for leaks before putting a conservatory ladder on it-i used to do cavity wall insulation before becoming a window cleaner and this was mandatory as u would get the customer to sign for any leaks prior to going up there-also i would like to ask has anyone got a survey form i could grab some ideas off

thanks

Graham

Use a WFP then you don't need a conservatory ladder ;)

What do you think wfp is the be all and end all??!!
I bought a conny ladder from Ladders999 and it is a great piece of kit. I couldn't do without it. Ive never heard of water testing roofs though, thats a new one. I use the wfp also with it but you'd often need to get into the finery with a tooth brush if need be.

As norm on this site there are different levels of cleaning especially for cons!!

Sorry but thats nonsense some of the cons we clean WFP will not give the same results - no way - How can you possibly get solvent up to heavily discoloured finials....  yes we do use wfp but purely for the finishing rinse down

For conny roofs WFP is the be all and end all, unless you got a great conny ladder, nice hose and long arms !!!
