best 1/2" hose conections?
« on: September 19, 2011, 09:22:45 pm »
so ive had no problem until recently with the plastic orange female conections that came with my van mount but now under pressure at the di vessel they are starting to ease off slighty causing a little drip

so id like to know what everyone thinks are the best conections money can buy from hose to di and then from di to hose (1/2" hose) again?

many thanks for any one who can help

george

Ive been using the more expensive Hozelock ones (about £5 each) for about a year and they havent dripped once... mind you, I only use them on reel connection, all the other connections are made with jubilee clips.

I switched to the clamp together geka ones only about £3 each and no leaks, the hozelock type always leaked when slightly off centre - got them from easy watering  :)
