do you think they are priced right at a tenner, if so do it, that is a terrible hike in price, but take a look and see if there isn't a reason for it, if not do it

Every two weeks makes me smile; all the new general stuff I'm taking on I'm pricing at every-other-month.

They really don't need done every two weeks; I bet your customers get sick of the sight of you.

I have 2 relatively new curtsies who both had cleaners previous, one was wfp and the other trad, both turned up every week. They couldn't believe it when I said 6 weeks min

Totally agree. Those saying to go for monthy..... Sorry, but it don't work wfp. For a wc, it takes longer to build around, but I'd rather £15 every 2 months than £8 monthly

its a catch 22 up there mate,     all the genuine window cleaners up there have to compete with the lats say non genuine which forces the prices down.

even my owm sister refused to pay a genuine w/c who quoted £8 a month because the other guy charged her £2 a fortnight

I told her that if she went with the £8 wfp guy she would actually have cleaner windows and her reply was well everyone else has them done every 2 weeks with the other guy so I'm gonna stay with him.

the thing is her w/c has already been nicked for claiming benefits while cleaning windows and its just water off a ducks back.

i would not take them on a fortnightly basis.monthly at £10 a pop.you should be easily able to clean them in a day with room for a few more jobs!

the other guy just got greedy.your customers are saving money and you have still got a good days work once a month.
price higher/work harder!

It used to be every-four-weeks around here; but so what?  I just tell my new customers, I just explain to my customers that many still do every-four-weeks, but I've found that many people prefer to pay a little bit more, and have them cleaned at every-other-month.  Most go for it.

I know a local window cleaner charging £6 for small jobs that I charge £10 for (he's trad).  I also doubled the price on a wadge of houses that a previous window cleaner just dropped (a member of this site), and some years on I'm still cleaning these; and this bit of my round works out as £60 an hour.

Charge more and don't be so frequent; that's what works for me.
