My mate has just bought one and does most of the town shop windows and swears by it, said very little if any detailing.
Thinking of getting one myself.

Had a play with one a while ago - suspect the rubber is the slightly thicker rubber Unger trialled last year - it wears in very quick but goes off really quick (1/3 time of normal unger soft ).

Think they are not as good as the hype...

I saw a window cleaner yesterday with one. I did try it but the handle is huge, I would not buy one.

I think Unger have made some fantastic products over the years, but with this I think it will be dropped from the catalogue very soon.

Nice grip a lot like the Sorbo, defo stops that cramp you get with the smaller handle. Good tool.

Well i decided to get one, it arrived today and i had a play on my own
windows with it-NOT IMPRESSED >:(

I ended up having to detail most of them which is something i don't normally
have to do with my usual ergo-tech sqeegee >:(

To the guys that use them-
1-where do you have the rubber set?
2-how much overhang at the ends?
3-did you have to do more detailing when using it?

Cheers guys ;D

I have one.. and the boab..

there's only one squeegee I've liked up until now. I've always used a 12" brass ettore for domestic. I'm not keen on the steel ones.

I like the way the ninja feels.. it gives even pressure across the blade. I also like the quick release clips. As for detailing pretty much the same.

But I still think ettore rubbers are the best..

I'm still not getting on with it ::)

I've had to detail most windows when i used it so left it in the bucket today and went back to
the Ergo tech=no detailing on most windows.

What am i doing wrong ???

Why would you not detail your glass your just leaving the door open for complaints from your customers even the very best Windys scrim off windows mate.. Alot of what your trying to achieve is down to the liquids not squeegee handles but as for the ninja's id use it long on the edges and under slight tenion with soft rubbers...

had one for about 2 months .

i always detail my windows so its not been a issue with me .

if like me , you wipe the blade before cleaning the window .you will find the end clips are too big and its awkward to wipe the blade as quickly in one swipe like other blades.

also when you do wipe the blade it unlocks the end clip . after about a week of this the end clip wont stay locked.and they need replacing.

i contacted unger about this , they said they are aware of the problem and are working on it .

they sent me 5 sets of end clips free.

to get round this problem i dont wipe the blade with a cloth , i either use my fingers or wipe it across my mop. its took some getting use to i have been wipeing my blades for 20 years.

other than that i think its a really good blade and would recomend one.

if you buy one and dont like it unger , under there guarantee will give you your money back .

took me about a month to get use to mine

hope this helps

True it dose take small changes to be made like the rubber wipe..

It don't make much difference how you have the rubbers seated out of the end clips to reduce detailing dose it, I just think if you scrim it at least you no there's no come backs from complaints.
