would a broken pump controller effect flow
« on: September 14, 2011, 02:38:07 pm »
just fitted a new pump on system yet it still seems to be coming out not very powerful out the brush head even on full flow, staff think it could be the variable flow controller needs replacing.

easy way to find out is connect the pump straight to the battery.

I would agree that connecting the pump direct to the battery would identify if there is a fault with the control. Where did you get the control and what make is it?

were you having having problems before the pump was changed? Could there be a blockage dirt/grit in the hose or jets air lock?
Is the control a 3 button 3 digit one?

Was the pump rated the same as the one that came off?

Good point the control should have no problem with a pump up to 7 litre per minute and 100PSI. if it is a Eco Flow 3 digit control you can also try to reset the calibration on the control.

As for pumps the control should work with any brand the more efficient the better.
