best way to power my pump and controller?

im wondering wether to control it from the van battery or should i get a leisure battery?
cheers guys n girls
Takings off all first cleans till march 7th 2014
October  total=  cleaned  extra per month
November = cleaned extra per month
Total £  so far.

Does  it not drain the battery?

i would power it from a leisure battery wired to a splitter to the van battery so it charges the leisure battery as you drive along hope this make sense.

no it will not drain the van battery so long as the flo con is turned of

wire it up to the cig lighter and just disconnect when you dont want it in use

Van battery.

Use correct grade cable with in-line fuse (or mini RCD) from either battery terminal or a permanent live in the ignition loom. ;)

i have used 27.5amp wire with a 10amp fuse had no problems yet

i've just bought a pure freedom pump/controller and it has about 15 to 20 metres of cable with built in inline fuse!
Van battery.
