I can't compare them as I haven't used Virosol on a conservatory clean yet. I have used tfr once and would never use it again. I left it too long before hosing off and it left TFR stains all over the UPVC which I spent hours removing with Jif and hard work.
I gave up on the side that was facing the neighbours and 6 years later with a wash every 6 weeks, the TFR stains as still there exactly as they were.

We used TRF in the garage valleting bay mainly on new cars to get rid of the wax protection coat they put on. It was sprayed it on with a hand pump, and then removed very quickly afterward with a steam cleaner. Occassionally we would use it on our company cars if they were really dirty, but we were warned not to let the stuff dry, especially in the sun of summer.

We used Virosol for the first time on some really dirty windows of a first clean, and even although the stuff dried on some windows before we got back to them, it worked fine.
But it is mainly used as a commercial kitchen degreaser.

I have used UBIK2000 which is made by the same company. It is fine from removing the algae and moss, but didn't help much to remove the stains from the UPVC roof bars and ridge, which is what i was really looking for.

One chap on a different forum suggests carefully spraying the roof with thin bleach to bring the stains off, but I'm a little scared to try it as its dangerous stuff.

Just got some viro-sol today so looking forwards to seeing how good this is    hope it melts the grime away.. Let you no how good tomoro i've got a sh**ty connie roof to do tomoro morning but most people say its awesome stuff.

i would say viro-sol over tfr any day i have promised to take photo's to prove how good viro-sol can be but have not got round to it yet but i have a house to do saturday with dirty window frames and sills and i mean dirty so will take camera out with me and take some and show ya.dave

I've tried a lot of cleaners, 3 or 4 different TFR's, Caravan Cleaner, UBIK, Squeegee Off, Fairy Ect, but in my opinion you can't beat Viro-Sol.
Its fantastic on plastic!

I have only used TFR and always had great results, just got to make sure you dilute properly! no stronger than 4%.
Thats probably where above post got 'streaks' on pvc from, too strong mix and allowing liquid to dry, BIG NO NO!
Wash off within 2-4 mins, never allow to dry. Always read the label, as they say.

Having read loads of previous posts I think most guys now use Virosol.
Also I have to agree with some other posts from previous lists, that TFR does sometimes leave the UPVC a little 'dull'
whereas a lot of guys on here claim Virosol always leaves It shiny 'like-new' every time, so I am going to order some next time out of interest to try.
Having said that, I tend to think that the 'dullness' of TFR is down to the age and condition of the UPVC in the first place, mainly its age, dullness comes on with years of fading anyway from the suns ultra violet rays.

Anyway heres a video I made from a job using TFR and you can clearly see there is NO dulness whatsoever!

Hope my experiences help you, mostly all was learned from this forum in the first place, so I enjoy passing on any info and tips.

Just tried viro sol on the mrs golf alloys wheels and boy it's good stuff!!! Left it on for a few minutes and it's ripped the brake dust off I don't think I've ever seen her wheels so clean... Only charged her £12 as well lol..
