I was simply stating that a carpet cleaning course was needed. This is what has happened in this industry... hello............ wake up people............ doesnt even know how much presray to put down. The question is........... would you let a person clean your carpets when they have had no training? and well by the sounds of it doesnt know what they are doing. I am not knocking the guy ....but please, do the training before you clean peoples carpets. Simply by not knowing what you are doing is taking a massive risk and at the end of the day if you dont know how much prespray to put down.......can you actually identifie the fibres and construction. Whet you gonna do with a woven .....shrink springs to ming. Look mate do the training as you are taking a big risk in losing you business with just a simple job that goes wrong. PROTECT YOURSELF and do the training. Its hard work building a business and well you are taking a big risk. Yeh..... Yeh...... people will slate me for writing this but at the end of the day I am trying to help you and do not want anyone to lose thier business through someone suing them over something that was avoidable simply by learning the basics. My other advice would be to make sure you have insurance including treatment risk.

Maybe you should have put a little more effort into your schooling before entering the 'carpet cleaning' profession, I mean, the spelling and grammar in that post whilst trying to tell someone else to do the right thing!

Oh excellent! Another superb post protecting a member of the 'select' group.
Now I know why I (and probably a huge amount of others) just pop on here from time to time to see if anything has changed. Sadly not!

Well done... Chill out and remember, it's as good to receive banter, as it is to give it.

Hi Paul

I usually spray just enough to lightly mist the carpet.I would say about just under a litre as a rough guess seems to work for me .

 good Agitation is the key

Neil

No wonder your tub of Blitz has lasted all these years Neil... ;D

Typical Yorkshireman.... ;D!

On a serious note, I have some Extracta contrachem if you want to take that, and some of that fine line stuff too...

That would be great Colin Thanks

This is My take on pre Sprays   Use as high a alkaline chem  as possible on everything.

dont even bother with acid rinse if its dirty

If its a fairly good wool carpet then i would use micro splitters

all you need as a carpet cleaner is 5l micro splitter and 50kg of blitz   ;D
