 hi
 i am hoping to be running an airlfex turbo from the van soon. when i get some longer hoses.

 thinking of current and load, running all three motors and the pump must be to big a load for a standard extension.

 add to that a magma which must be drawing a hell of a current. what do airflex or similar usersdo run two or three extensions to the van. or one decent extension with a built in breaker.

 on that note anyone use a generator , or is it simply to big a load.

To make the best of your magma I would put it closer the wand, have the 2 cords to the van to run the machine.

One line for each socket on the machine and one line for the magna.
Don't try all this on anything less even with an RCD.
I did it once (by mistake) and the RCD didn't cut out because it wasn't an earth leak but there was the smell of burning....it was a socket trying to supply too much current.

Agree with Neil........one lead for each plug. and make sure lead is unwound.............!!!

I too use mine from the van and always have used two extension leads if needed as in a lot of cases i just use the leads from the machine if i can get the van on the drive or near there front door.

So are we running these two separate extension leads  from two separate circuits? or of the same ring? i agree to def with Sean to use the magma nearer the wand or at least in the property plugged into a totally separate circuit... i normally plug into the plug connected to the cooker.

I only ever use one plug at a time.
Heater on till up to heat then unplug
and plug in vac and pumps.
When I need to pre spray next area
knock vac and pump and plug in heater.
The Ninja holds the water heat well.

 thought as much, i have a gutter vac and everything starts getting warm if you run it for to long.

If you can, plug the lead with the highest amperage draw into the cooker switch socket as it can take the higher amps

Far too big a load for a sensible size generator, the initial surge of the vacs starting would probably kill any generator less than 8-10kv, it could be done if you are willing to shell out several grand on a genny the size of mini though!

 thought as much i have 6kva but that wouldnt touch it struggle just with the gutter vac which is 3x 1200watt. with airflex your adding pump and magma as well.

 i dont actually have a magma yet any way. will get one soon.
