come on dave spend some of your money on that pressure washer it will make the cladding cleaning part on jobs like that much quicker and easier ;D

would you  pressure wash at that height, from the ground, must be about 35ft to that facia

looking at the pictures dave it looks like you are just removing the green algae so you wouldnt need much pressure to clean this so the pressure wash pole at that height would be fine if you use a larger nozzle size or reduce the pressure on the machine, i have used them at this height on full pressure for small jobs but as you say they are very hard to control if used at full force.

They are Peugeot bippers, same van different manufacturer. we bought them for our shop runs, they both travel at least 500 miles a week each just doing low value shops, so the lower running cost the better, they dont have to carry much weight and we get good mpg.

a lance at that height cleaning algae wouldn't be quicker than poleing it with either a tfr mix or hot water. ive done both and the lance at that height is a killer unless hooked in a gutter (and that is still a killer!!)

whatever suits you best steve but my dad is 73 and still uses a pressure wash lance at 30ft and i think it is not just a bit faster but about 4 times faster but each to their own.

What poles he using Trevor? I got the omnipowerpole and it's a killer. You ever used a hot water system on algae? Or a TFT mix? If it's a flat surface one wipe and it's gone.

  we have adapted WFP poles into powerwash lances we mainly use adapted 27ft CLX poles but we have an old brodex 40ft pole adapted for powerwashing, i do agree hot water does work better on algae we have a purefreedom hot system that we have used occasionally for this purpose but our powerwasher is also a hot one and find this much faster.
