hi guys just a quick question my company is Mostran Cleaning Services Ltd based in southampton and am considering paying to move up the list on yell.com as theyve just revamped there site
we are a new company and as yet have a very small amount of work just wondering what sort of cost to work ratio id get for advertising
not sure of cost as they wont discuss over the phone so have a meeting on wednesday
we do all domestic end of tenancy sparkle cleans office one offs
also any other advice on getting name out there would be great have had leaflets printed and am in the process of delivering them (by hand  :
and am about to send out letters to local business centres ect and then follow them up
all advice would be appriciated

Do not waste your money, you'll be better off spending it on local ads imo

Yell.com is Yellow Pages trying to change into something else after living off the fat of the land charging people to advertise in a yellow rag with all their competitors. If you read the financials you would see that they are in desparate straits.

Our average cost per lead (NOT job) 10 years ago with YP was £83 quid. Financial suicide in the cleaning industry.

We all live and learn. You are sooooo lucky there is this forum to save you learning the expensive way!

Yell.com hasnt worked for us at all, every year reps come to us and try and sell there marketing.
recently loaded an website through yell, had one lead.  ???
