I havent seen the backpack before but if your struggling any charger would do wouldnt it, just connect up + and -

You need to be careful of any charge they can damage you battery. Go to mapland and look for a smart charger they cost 30 quid or so and fit the end of old charger to the new one. Make sure the polarity is correct ( red to red and black to black)

 i did the above works fine, i bet you snapped the pins in the plug there was a problem with these, and wcw where always reluctant to help or even sell you a new one.
