Customer data base

I have used cleaners mate for a few years now and it is now my main marketing tool.
They are about to upgrade a few new jazzy features so I thought I would forward the info of the email to you as they are launching it at the NCCA show.

Paul

We will be launching our new PRO version of Cleaners Mate - and hopefully showcasing it at the NCCA Carnival - if we can get it ready in time!.

Along with all the features of the PLUS version it will also boast our new QuoteMASTER system:

An in-home quotation system, enabling multiple packages to be utilised via room measurements for carpets, stone & tile, also covers upholstery, leather etc etc. A very simple yet powerful feature, which always has been - and always will be the ethos of our program.

It will all be fully editable (you set your own pricing structure), you can create your own packages and print your quotes off at the clients house via a laptop.

Suddenly, there is no more lengthy manually writing out of quotations by hand (or even longer by writing out other options like protection prices etc), and becoming noted for your new found professionalism. Its much quicker too!

This system takes away the fear of 'selling' to your clients, as it does it for you (more info on the site http://www.cleanersmate.co.uk)!

It is known that offering clients more than one thing, can increase your bottom line - and this system will AUTOMATICALLY give them different options including protection of course, and any weird and wonderful package you want to offer.

If anyone wants to come along and have a look - and see it in action (hopefully!), then please come and see me or Roxy at the show! The price will be £249 on the day instead of the list price of £285, saving any visitor to the show £36.00! This reduction is for the show only - obviously if we can get it to the show (we are trying!). This means that anyone buying the program will in effect be getting the in-home QuoteMASTER system - absolutely FREE!

More info on QuoteMASTER can be found here: http://www.cleanersmate.co.uk/cleaners_quotemaster.htm (sorry, no screenshots yet - coming very soon!)

Is it 'cos your marketing your cleaners mate
database that your getting that response or
just the fact that your marketing a database.
In other words would you have got that response
from say marketing using Microsoft Access which
I use?

John, I spend very little these days on marketing and just use my data base for work. It does not matter what you use and I started with a basic microsoft word data base. The only difference with cleaners mate is that it is done for you so i can instantly see how much work ive done each week/month/year, going back 10 years at a push of a button ( it also does graphs  and average job price if your into that).
I basically send 2 letters out, 1 bfore easter and 1 before xmas, with cleaners mate i can make the letter and then just highlight which customers i want it sent to and the programme does the rest with every customers name being at the top of the letter and it can even sort out my envelopes.

So to answer your question, no it wont get you more work than other data bases but it is easier quicker and gives you more info to work with.

Think you know the answer to that John...........BUT the C/M has been put together by someone who knows the industry and will benefit the people who like this sort of thing.

I've harped on about the value of a customer list for ages and by having it in such a businesslike format will be of a great benefit to users.

Kevin's comment about the C/M helping to overcome one of the greatest difficulties many c/c experience is spot on. If you you can simply hit print and show a number of options instead of talking to your feet and getting tongue tied this could prove to be it's most powerful feature.

I reckon it represents fantastic value and will surely pay for its self in a very short time.

Iv'e just downloaded the free trial and I think it looks great.
For our domestic cleaning biz we use Access, none of the templates worked for us so I paid £375 to have one made up, after paying for the program!
It does the job and I love it because I had it made exactly how I wanted it but If I had found something like this that is allready done for you would have been much easier.

Just wondering what mobile printer you could use with it?

We use a HP deskjet 450wbt. I think there is a later one now, but they are superb. It uses bluetooth and the battery lasts absolutely ages, as does the ink because I only use it for printing the quotes on-site.

Cant wait for this new cleaners mate addition though - with their new quote master thing, as the one I use is old and cant be modified - but theirs can apparently.
