Firms in my area
« on: August 19, 2011, 03:03:42 pm »
Hello, just checking to see how many of you guys operate in the area where i live.
I cover the Guildford area and surrounding towns such as Aldershot, Farnborough, Camberley, Frimley, Fleet etc.

I am looking to network with other firms, passing on work etc... always good to have local contacts!

Cheers

Russ

Like the tag line Hector.

Bit like all the pseudynoums on here and their "fundamental interconnectedness"  ;D

Good idea that russ as there a few of us who do pass on work if its a little to far to go or were busy.

Always found the jobs i do pass on i get back in return in the long run..

I am a big big fan of Douglas Adams' work, and do like the holistic approach every now and then.

Although I don't advertise those areas the odd job comes in from there, which if it is worthwhile I will go to. Likewise I'll make a note of yours for times when I can't/won't go that far up the M3

Hi Russ

I've worked in the Guildford area for 20 years now, having had a shop in Bramley and an industrial unit in Shalford.

i used to work in Guildford but decided to stop and move some where else as there was no work at all, not a single job for months. if i were you i'd move 10-15 miles away too as someone told me there was loads work that way  ;)

Considering how just a few weeks ago Kermit had so much work he was giving it away, then the post makes less sense than he normally does.
And that takes some doing  ::).

He's probably heard 80% of accidents happen at home, so now he's working 15 miles away just to be safe.

Well I guess it's a different approach to 'Come into my area and I'll set the rest of the muppets on you.'  ;D

Errr, you also use 'nasty' chemicals when the client doesn't want 'green' ones. Think its to late to backtrack on that one, we've been down that route too many times!!

we trade under 2 names is what i said iirc :)

lol so why start back tracking lol? it was obviously a joke or did you actually think i thought the chemicals hector uses makes him that dim? maybe hector isn't the only one using too many nasties and you should try switching over to the green goodness too or at least put a mask on to help reduce the damage it's doing to you
