« on: August 02, 2011, 10:22:08 pm »
I set up a webiste a couple of months ago and within a few weeks it was on the first page of google, then top of bing, and first page of yahoo, but now its dropped to the third page of google, but stayed in the same position on yahoo, and bing, so why has my page dropped down on google but not the others, and how can i get it back to the first page on google?

Hi Lee

It depends what you were on top for - which keywords do you type in when you check your own website.
It should be easy for you to rank as window cleaners your town or anytown

For me I type in commercial window cleaners to see where I rank
We are also working on just window cleaners

It takes time - but it should be worth it - just look at SAJ - he's growing his business nicely :D

The stuff at the bottom of your homepage, window cleaning this that and the other could be viewed as spam text by google which will result in being dropped.
Get rid of it and use window cleaner dunmow in your page text. Don't over do it though max of 10% for keyword density.
Look at H1 tags, title tags and good honest content.
There are lots of free tools available on the net to check out your sites compatibility.
