Price Increase
« on: July 27, 2011, 09:33:03 pm »
Hi all,

I'm just on with increasing my prices, not been done for a few years.

On average, how much do you put yours up by?

Or do you just increase every job by a fixed price, say a £1

Do you have a minimum price?

I did it like this last year, 0-£10 went up by £1, 11-15 up by £1.50, 16-20 up by £2 and so on,

WE should go up 5% pa as this is the inflation rate just to have the same income value each year. With fuel prices it should be more.

Evaluate each job individually and assess it's value. Then price accordingly.

If your prices are half what they should be then small increases wont help.

If a house is priced at £15 and need to be £25 you have your answer.
