I'm in a dilemma whether to go VAT or not,

Domestic work is 55% of our turnover with commercial being the rest!

Do I want the stress or not??

Saying that if what I have quoted for this week I may not have a choice!!!!

I'm not VAT registered and am never likely to be as I prefer to remain a sole trader at the moment (this may change one day).
If I ever needed to register for VAT, I would go straight in with the more complicated version.  I reason that if  had taken the trouble to go that far, I would be looking to build it much further.  At some point the more complex version of VAT would be forced upon me so I reckon that it would save me from changing it again later.
