Agree with all.... keep the van clean, polite and friendly to the custies, I have my own uniform with logo on the back and front which helps me stand out from the jeans n tee shirt gangs.... same logo on all business cards and collecting cards and letter heads.
Always smile n chat to passers by and your right they do remember you. At it 25 years and never struggled for work. lately I have picked up £400 worth in 3 months without canvassing.
