Read my post again - those of you who claim to do the job SOLO in 1 and a half hours.

That auto fill / dump machine must walk out of the van by itself, into the kitchen, fill itself, set itself up etc whilst the operator(s) are doing the pre vac. Then ready to go! ::)

I used to take about 3 hours using a good portable but i can honestly say i can easily knock off an hour or more now using my truck mount ....no i dont cut corners......there will be 2 answers as to how long this job will take depending on portable or truckmount users....i know cause ive used both.

Bob

I totally agree with you, when I first got my T/M I used to get embarrassed at the time I was getting through the job, but I guess my shoulders must have got broader!!

I still cannot see how you can do the job in 2 hours if you are pre vaccing properly. This involves moving the furniture to vacuum. After this you will have to move furniture again when you do the clean. I could only believe it if there was no furniture to move and no pre-spotting.
Does your 2 hours start from when you arrive at the customers home and end when you drive away with £180 in your back pocket?

My comments are based on an empty house. I can see no mention of a furnished or unfurnished house mentioned.

Vacuuming  removes 80% of the dry soil, which would otherwise turn to sludge as soon as water hits it.....  That's what I was taught on my training courses.....
