Hello Terry,  its colin from Blackpool!

as an ex window cleaner , getting into carpet cleaning was the best move i've ever made

WHO CARES IF IT RAINS ANYMORE

as for pricing, well thats a topic of varied opinions
i personally charge per squre foot of cleanable carpet, with various services to suite each client
i always see the job before booking it, so not only does the customer get an exact quote but i get to see what the job entails

hope this helps

p.s i charge 45 p per sf          or 70p per sf if protecting

get roughly 8/10 jobs

obviously the bigger the job, the bigger the discount the customer gets!

Hi

180 for a three bed house that takes 3 1/2 hours. I would think that it would be more like £250 for that amount of time.

Regards

Surely the amount of time depends on how many operators are doing the job. As for anybody who takes less than 3 hours (working solo)........either you are not moving furniture and only cleaning carpet thats visible or you are not cleaning to the correct methods i.e thorough pre vac, pre spray & agitate, rinse, groom. Not forgetting putting pads under furniture.
It takes half an hour to pre vac properly including moving furniture etc. Then 20-30 mins set up / drain down time (less if using t/m) so those of you who claim to take 1 and a half hours are saying you can pre-spray, rinse and replace furniture in 30-40 mins - thats a 3 bedroomed house. You must be the ones who are charging £10 any room any size including protector!  ;D

well that is ridiculous if the average sale is £140.00 for a 3 bed house it hardly works out at £10.00 per room does it. and yes you might well have 2 people doing it so nothing is missed out .so hardly rogue traders. and perhaps equipment is of such good standard ,and maybe auto fill. and dump. so yes you can work for less without being an inferior product
