20 litres is the capacity of the vac. It is rare that you will get more than 20 litres on 1 average house normally 10 litres is the max. But you can always empty the thing half way through. The advantage of a smaller model is that its easier to cart around.

20 L vac prob max 16 L capacity for wet etc ....

when we use ladders we norm get around say 10 L max, but with seing every vac system for sale being 30 L plus just got me wondering what size to get.

i like the beneift of a small vac for van space and ease of moving around the job. one im looking at is 20L and a 1400 watt

WC ive just purchased the 20ltr system came today and in all honesty its to small plenty of power not enough capacity.. .ive just done the the fronts of my own house and it was a more than a  third full and the gutters were only full half the length of gutters..  my house is a hip roof with a porch at front...so it would have filled it few times.
Only reason i didnt go for the 30ltr is because of the price difference £60 was a bit much when i can get a another vac for £65 in lidls and i also  have a numatic wet vac in the shed .all i need is  a fitting to connect.

AS for the system as a hole brilliant job... As i was doing them i was thinking to my self this isnt getting under the tiles.so got the ladders out when finnished and checked... super job the odd bit of silt but i can live with that
Its not going to be perfect for every job but either is ladders... its also not going to be quicker on smaller jobs than ladders but it is safer..

Iam planning in getting a 4 wheel garden truck  so i can put vac and generator on wouldnt like to be moving it all about round a house... again this isnt going to work on every house but hopefully most...
I have one job i do every year and it takes two people for safety... its now a one man job.. and with this job it pays more than the systems worth..  also started to dred it coming up now i cant wait..

I did think of the diy route as i had a vac...but for what it cost £220 plus delivery
the time you waste buying different fittings and   poles then  making differnt attachment for different jobs..not worth the hassle...now if we only had  the other big vac and poles from other suppliers then i would have maybe tried diy but then again i would probably not have got round to it..
I would have been happy to pay the £220 for the poles ,attachments  and hose

wc mirror worked well .. for my first go with it i got my gutters clean and they were pretty full for the area cleaned... honestly i would do the same as myself unless you can get nick to give you the 30 a bit cheaper.. theres only a £20 pound difference if you were to buy the vac yourself...
filters our pretty basic but so is the vac compared to numatic our other top of the range machines but then thats why its a very good price
The poles our like using 30ft xtel pole at 2 storey if using it  all day every day you would have shoulders and arms like popeye
