« on: July 13, 2011, 09:54:14 pm »
been using my new system today a few teething problems but in all it was good

the only problem i have is what setting to put the controllers on as i had them on 20 to begin with then dropped it to 16 but i still ran out of water with a 500ltr tank and i used to get it all done on a 300ltr

so does anyone know what the best setting is

many thanks
dave

ps solved the problem i had late last night

You may need to calibrate the controller.

Set the flow and have the water coming out of the brush, push the left and right button together for a couple of seconds, this will put it in calibration mode, push the down arrow untill it says auto the push enter, it will the show 99, let it run fir a few seconds and it will calibrate the controller for you, when the number changes push enter again and it will save the setting. Hope this helps

Thanks Lee you are spot on with setting up the auto cal function for the controller.

Dave re what setting the are a number of factors as to what the auto cal will set to. The size and type of hose will have an effect as will whether the pole is laying down when you set the calibration, the time it takes your system to pressure up may also have an impact.

As a general rule of thumb if you follow Lees advice on the Auto cal function we would expect to see it set between 30 and 45.
When you got the controller there should have been some instructions if you do not have these let me have an email address and I will send you some.

thanks both but have spoken to purefreedom and they are saying that the controllers were callibreated and that it shudnt affect the water flow the only thing that would affect water usage is the setting ive now set the controller at 13 and it seems better does this sound correct

thanks

Hi Dave

I have mine on 30 all day(like a high flow rate) and a 650 litre tank is never finished. Work solidly from half 8 till half 4ish usually with an hour for nosh
