WCW V2 backpack question
« on: July 12, 2011, 05:53:37 pm »
anyone know if the charger is built into this unit.
The 'charger' which arrived today has ac adaptor 240 /12v on it and i'm not sure whether its a charger or just a voltage converter.

its not a converter as it has a light on which will tell you when the battery is charged. Its not a very good one so look after it.

thanks guys, i have the old yellow backpack with a different fitting and was planning to cut the new plug off and join the wires to my old plug, do you reckon this would work?
I now have so much work with a backpack that i'm stuck without it.

ok guys, get ready to laugh! wizkid kindly told me to watch the battery moving causing it to short out, not something i knew about.
Took the top off, moved the battery a little and heh presto its charging ok now.
£30 for a new charger, mind you id nearly ordered a battery tonight.
i reckon i owe whizkid a drink!
Thanks for the help
