carbon in not a liquid. how do you add it to pure water. do you run through an activated charcoal filter. we all do that its in the r/o unit. seem like a pointless thing i have had a wfp for 10 years plus and never heard anything like it. i guess you know something that all the big companies dont.

Carbon tetrachloride is so 1940s. Its also extremely hazardous to health.

Do your own researches.

I seriously would suggest you do that for your own well-being.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carbon_tetrachloride#Safety

Quote
Exposure to high concentrations of carbon tetrachloride (including vapor) can affect the central nervous system, degenerate the liver[10] and kidneys[12] and may result (after prolonged exposure) in coma and even death.[13] Chronic exposure to carbon tetrachloride can cause liver[14][15] and kidney damage and could result in cancer.[16] More information can be found in Material safety data sheets.[17]
