« on: October 16, 2005, 04:53:17 pm »
Hi Everyone,

I'm new to this forum so hello to all.

Can you help?

I clean empty houses for move in/out cleansfor a housing assosiation and have been asked to clean carpets as the old carpet clean contractor jacking it in, now  what is the best portable machine to use?
Is the rug doctor ok? also they've asked me to treat the carpets for fleas, what is the best chemical for that?
I do not want to sub contract and the old contractor will not talk to me about the cleaning ( funny bugger)

Hope someone can help

Nick

NICK ,
If look up past posts you will get all the  info you need on portables as for treating for fleas industrial pesticides sell a product called ficam but only problem you need certificate to say you have been trained in using these.
you would be better to contract this work out.
if its just for one treatment i would send you a few sachets over to were ever you our if you wanted to give it a go .but would really suggest you contract it out . hope this helps you a bit

Hi Nick

To clarify No Insekt ( Yes that is spelt correctly) is permethrin free and requires no special handling, simply clean the carpet where necessary and post spray them.

Hope this helps

Best regards Nick
