i think alot of these poles will be sold as more and more wc's are bored of waiting for the slx poles.

just goes to show how good the slx poles are as demand is very high.

i think nat did a good vs review of the two poles

c.c.s where did you get yours from mate..ideally i want the 20ft one with the ability to add a 5ft section like you do.

i agree the problem with the slx is there never in stock i did hold back a few weeks ago as apparently they were due in very early july  but got told today its more like the end of july now,  my old one snapped the other day so cant wait that long.. i'm sure this is a headache for gardiners too.

i got mine from sureclean because it wasn't in stock on the water fed pole company website but a friend of mine purchased one directly from their website ,so we'll need to check

i bought a 40ft one for £540 incl vat, i really like it, ive taken most of it apart and use about 25ft of it, for 3rd storeys, etc.

i dont use it constantly as its a bit too long compressed, and i dont want to wreck it.

plus a 13' extel pole is only £60 and quite light anyway.

lovely quality though,

thats the only thing putting me off is the closed lengths if there 20ft was the same closed as the 22 slx then i wouldn't think twice..

the collapsed length is not  much different to slx ,  its a fantastic pole i have the 35ft elite fitted with the gardiners  xtreme brush great combo , i mostly  use it as a 25ft pole very light and rigid in a comparision not long ago the SLX and ELITE were very close in rigidity ,    been using mine over 2 months now and no complaints at all , HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

the weight difference is nothing, makes no difference for a 25ft pole
the elite is a better made pole and stiffer

The Elite poles are a little heavier than the SLX, and the clamp design makes the closed length of the longer models longer than the SLX, but they are still a fantastic pole & very rigid. I personally prefer the SLX, but if you can't wait for them to come back in stock, you could do a lot worse than the elite poles.

Just to let you know, we have made some modifications to the Elite poles and have reduced the weights. Not a huge amount, but every little helps!!  :)                    Stock is available.
