  i currently just use a pile brush to work in prespray solution. does using a machine like a duo/orbiter make a big difference.

 i can see it would be easier but is it better. and of the market choiceswhich is the best.

Yes. A ton of difference, but you really need an Enviro Dri or better still a Flexi 5 (dry vac - wet agitation)

You just couldnt move a brush to match the speed (and effectiveness) of a powered brush.
Many reckon the Duo is too light, need an Envirodri at least

The times i agitate i use a pile brush, plenty of muscle does the job a treat, in the same time you can set up a mechanical machine and mess about putting away again.
Most of the time pre spray, leave 10 mins and extract is all i do.

I've noticed that a sebo duo has made a big difference to my results, although I was being half-arsed with a brush so maybe not a fair comparison..

I have a Sebo and pile brush. Sometimes a heavy pre-spray followed by a longer dewell time will be enough.

With a brush I found I would do the minimum agitation required.
So I find I do a more through job with a mechanical device, better/more agitation, meaning less wand work.

 thanks nice to get specific, unanimous answer to a question for once. will look into getting something sorted.

 i can see it would be easier and better, its like the difference between sweeping a carpet with a stiff brush and getting a sebo dart on it i suppose.

the truckmounters will be on here in a minute, apparently you dont need to brush in at all with a truckmount. in fact you just have to park outside the job and it does it for you at 600 a day.

You dont need to brush in on 90 % of jobs, good pre spray, 10 mins dwell and rinse will do exactly the same job imo.
On the other 10% a good brush by hand does the trick.
No need for heavy, expensive equipment, i have a sebo duo and rotary machine sat collecting dust.
Save your money.

thanks i can see on small areas what you are saying would be fine especially if using something like powerburst with umph.

but on large areas it does get tough,  you do have machines in case you need them even if its not all the time.
