As title, customer ive taken over, did it the first time and fine paid, then second time can you call back friday, went back and she wasnt there, i do a few in the cul de sac so next month did her again, have called 5 times now since and i know she is there but just wont answer, left a note other night to say please call me when is best time to collect many thanks. Nothing back. Called again tonight windows open, lights on etc etc, still nothing

In my whole time window cleaning ive never had anyone blatently ignore me, what would you do, its only £20 at end of day but grating me

start cleaning the windows then accidently on purpose spray water in the open windows. see how long it takes her to come out then

If you have her full name send her a final demand, threatening court action if she doesn't pay, usually does the trick.

Leave a note to tell her if you have to come back again an extra £5 will go on for time and petrol. Advise this is per visit so if she tells you to come at a certain time and she 'forgets' and goes out it will cost her more. Give option of cheque or BACS
This has worked like a charm for me twice in the last 2 months with 2 bad payers. Once they know you mean business most pay up. If you have a mobile for her do her regular text reminders also.

bit unprofessonal from me but after 5 times calling and you no for a fact she hiding from you id just dump personally,i had a terraced i took on paid first 2 times £5 a time cleaned it 3 times after and kept calling but wernt in,when i finally caught up with him he had no money and asked me to collect where he works (a carwash 4 miles away) thought yeh right couldnt be arsed with him anymore £15 gone  (dumped forever) 

i do his mums and sisters so one day when they filthy they will ask me go do his again i suppose any grief off them and they will be dumped

I take what may be regarded as the unprofessional approach. I walk away and write it off. Furthermore, I hope that they never have the gall to ask why I stopped going to them, when their windows are minging and their neighbours' are gleaming!

i got a little peeeeded off with this , they get a weekly wage .
i got a old bucket and tipped in brown sauce , red sauce 1/2 bottle of washing up liquid and a bit of water .
i waited until the next clean and used a old brush that i dipped in the bucket and cleaned her , windows and doors with it .
when i was further down the road i was laughing my head off at the state off there windows .
they aint missed a payment since

Leave a note like this:

Dear Mrs Custy,

Despite previous reminders and visits to collect from you the outstanding balance of £20 remains unpaid. As you will appreciate I cannot continue these visits without expense to myself.

Therefore, if payment is not received immediately I will assist you by letting each neighbour to the side of you know of the situation so that you can leave the money with them for me to collect. If I tell them you owe me £20 for cleans going back three months then they will understand when you hand the money to them for me.
