I trad and will take home circa 40 quid per hour.

So if you can do 120 quid an hour then great, but not really sure you do

having been a good trad cleaner for 16 years and wfp 13 months i can honestly say you trad guys are really in the dark when it comes to wfp cleaning.

it really is easier, faster, safer and you earn more money.it also does a fantastic job most of the time once you get the hang of it.

any of you guys that stay trad are really a bit foolish.there is a much better tool for window cleaning that your missing out on.i can say that i myself was a bit cagey about wfp in the beginning but it really is better and more enjoyable.your hourly rate will soar and you can take on those awkward jobs that you would turn down if your ladders only.

dont get me wrong i still use trad on some work but its only around 20% of my work now.mostly ground floor work.

best wishes to you all

I agree, but why the continual slagging of of trad by wfper's, horses for courses and all that. Round here 80% of custys wont have wfp, that is why I cant switch.

IT WAS THE SAME EVERYWHERE STEVE until you make a stand. Once you have confidence in wfp you just get on with it...the real stalwart anti wfp custys you may lose, and that wont be as many as you think (or others would have you believe)  are easily made up for in new work (previously unnaccessable windows + new work)
WE CLEAN BY FAITH, NOT BY SIGHT WITH WATER FED POLE WHEN WORKING AT HEIGHT.

just have to put a pennies worth in here. I have been trad (as people are now calling it) for 20yrs, but have not yet tried WFP, however either way what I do is clean windows both commercial and domestic and therefore I am just a window cleaner just like everyone else on this forum link, why get so caught up with the 'do you or don't you cr@p'. I have recently picked up a lot of work from houses that no longer want WFP but I can still appreciate the merits of that system, albeit I remain to be convinced in certain situations. I watched in confusion the other day as a guy WFP a bungalow and it took him twice as long as I would with my flashing blade, having said that I think they're great for anything above 2 storeys. But no way do I accept that there isn't a place for trad cleaning as it is quite simply impossible to know if a window is properly clean from several metres away. I have never heard a  customer or anyone say that they were pleased once their windows were cleaned WFP, it really is only for the safety and profit margin of the window cleaner, which is fine. I want to be safe but I also want to do a good job, hopefully like everyone else also wants to do.
