Have you thought of turning your water off on your pole tap and scrubbing the glass without water running, and just turn it on to rinse when you're getting low onwater?

Your flow rate must be high, ive got a 650 system and 2 of us can work from 8.30 till 4.30

how on earth are you using 650L a day on your own?i find 350L just right most days.i do trad the odd ground floor windows on some work though.sounds like your rinsing far too much with a mega flow!!

did do a lot of big houses with big connies and had a helper yesterday which i think made the difference as normally use about 400 to 500 litres a day by myself.

prob rinsing too much but backing off with the rinsing to find out the least u can get away with ... so poss need to back off a little more

If you have a helper then get them to use some old towels to wipe over the bottom window cills (especially on connies) instead of using wfp for them while you reel in the hoses.

Saves loads of water and you get more grit wiped away. A few of litres per house saved can be 50 plus litres left over at the end of the day - enough to do two big houses!.

Good tip Gold 
When I am running low on water I don't clean the sills on the ground floor and will go round with a microfibre cloth and give 'em a wipe.
Same with doors.
I do also find though that I get through quite a lot of water if I have a few properties with conservatories to clean.

sfunny u should say that but my helper does tend to use a lot doing the sills ... not a problem any other day but was yesterday .. good tip !

thats two of em working darren!10-14 biggish(4 bedders)with connies is easily achievable if there all compact and maintenance cleans working on your own.i have a run of them and virtually all pay on the day and plenty of brews and the odd 5 min chat and dinner break.can get them done between 9am-3pm.

as for saving water scrimming doors and bottom sills if there pretty clean helps.so does having an aqua-daptor.great piece of kit.my varistream is not working very well and its gushing out of the jets at times which to be honest makes me able to work very fast but my water goes down fast!

maybe an adaptor to fit on some extension hose to put on custies outside taps for conny roofs/fascia cleans will help.so will having a small DI in the van to purify on demand on plot.although ive never done that yet!!

i carry 2 barrels each 25litre. if run out i put the pump hose in the barrel .

The aqua-daptor is somthing I was looking into after the show at the nec. They were going to send me a aqua daptor to trial for 2 weeks but they never sent it.
