Yes, Xtreme standard is the white Xtreme brush. You might have to phone as the last time I looked it didn't appear on the drop down menu.

I've used a 25ft slx for 4 years every day. ;)

If, and only if, you find in the future you need a little more reach, you can buy seperate sections to add on to it. ;)

I also have every super-lite brush in the entire range. However, none of my standard SL's get used any more, since trying the Xtreme back in January it's never been off the pole! ;)

thanks so much winpro you've come to my rescue more than once now! i dont know what i'd do without you  ;) (and everyone else of course)

and yeah it looks like i'll have to phone them because not only does the brush not appear in drop down menu but there is no size selection either!

also why is this brush the cheapest if its the best  ???

So you find the 25 slx ok for your 2nd storey buidings mate?

that will be all  ;D

my decision is made! im getting the slx 25 with super-lite xtreme standard (white)  8) cant wait!!!

anybody with any reasonable objections speak now or forever hold your tongues  ;D  ;D  ;D

However, I'm going to have to rain on the old parade a little GB- SLX's, I think are not in stock untill a week or two (apart from the 18ft) which is why the drop menu doesn't give another size option. :'( :'(

Worth the wait though.

That depends on the building, some 2 story are much higher than others. I'd say it does 90% of my entire work. I use a Xtreme 48 for anything higher. ;)

my 25ft SLX reaches all my current work including 2nd floor windows.fantastic pole although i prefer the SL DT FLOCKED(BLACK ONE)rather than the extreme.i find the extreme a bit too weedy and i tend to bang the stock more on the sides of frames.also i cant clean sills as well as with the extreme(too few bristles).i do use it on my clx 22ft for standard work though.

i use aqua-daptors on both poles.coupled with my van mount and 100m of 6mm microbore on lightweight hose reel i reckon i have the best set up for wfp window cleaning.

GB,.. when you are ordering, the carbon gooseneck is worth every penny. Its about 85g lighter than the plastic angle adapter + thread adapter + brush socket and gives you a little extra reach too.

oh right! i'll give that some consideration, the reason im not keen on a goosneck is because i have to get over connys alot and i doubt i would be able to get flush contact with my brush on the window as you cant adjust a gooseneck can you?

I have the carbon gooseneck and I also have the standard set up with a swivel. The gooseneck is pretty versatile, I thought I would have issues getting to the tops of windows when going over connys with the gooseneck, however I've no really had a problem, just slightly more difficult. However the reach of the gooseneck means that the pole is much less likely to touch the roof.

I'd say that the gooseneck is well worth having and if you got both set ups it very fast to change heads.

Simon.
