Hi folks,
just looking for a bit more of an update on the swoop.
Have any of you converted to it?
Was it easy to get used to?
Does it save any time?
Plus anything else you'd like to say about it before i invest/waste money on one
Thanks for any reply's.

I don't rate it much, unless it is really regular jobs, or insides and at 14inch it is only practical on larger panes, that said it is quick as long as the glass isn't soiled much.

Does it fit in the "bucket on a belt"?

I bought one out of curiosity. My opinion is it's a complete waste of money.
The problem is the angle has to be dead right so it's no use for pole work on shop windows. I also found you have to apply exactly the right amount of pressure because if you press to hard the squeegee bit doesn't work but maybe that's just practice. As well as that, you cannot squeegee the corners.
As for fitting a bucket on a belt, it doesn't fit the Ettore one I use but I don't know about other makes.

Ross you can squeegie the corners, you just can't start there like normal, you have to start say top middle, but I agree on the rest, unless you do a lot of internal glass that isn't very dirty, I would say useless, I certainly wouldn't buy one for normal working conditions

Check Wagga , on You Tube he gave an honest review , and showed its failures ,, I use the wag tail filpper , hope this of use to you ,, saying that its an addition , and not a replacement for my tool work , I use it for pole work mailnly , and often with out the applicator
