Big thanks to Dave Preece

Just to say thanks to Dave Preece form The Big Clean who serviced my Power Flite pump the other day. It's now working nice and smooth with no psi dropping. Really appreciate it cuz it took him 3 hours with all the hassle and bassle over taking pump/mottor off and puting it back in.

Cheers Dave :)

Paid £120+VAT for parts. Got it serviced for free as part of the package when buying the machine. I think it's £40-50 for labour but may depend upon location.
I've been told that pumptec pumps are due a service every 300 hrs or roughly once a year.

Pumptec pumps should be serviced every 500 hours. My last one lasted 600+hours :)

Theres some great videos on thier youtube page http://www.youtube.com/user/pumptec763

Not really mate. Well there is a really good tech that deals with pressure washers (sells and repairs them). He used to do work on my machines for me. I'm 99% sure he could also deal with replacing all the parts inside a pumptec pump.
He's based in broxburn. I dont use him anymore as I do all my own maintance now. i'll email youu his details.

I'm sure they do, ask Jamie next time he's on.

The place in Broxburn is called "capital power clean". The Tom the owner is very friendly and knows his stuff.

Broxburn is a bit closer for you.

Hi Darren, Avoid the guy in Broxburn.
He seems sound but he has a real attitude problem.
His wife is lovely but that no good to you or me.
