GREEN WATER

LEAKING DI

hi guys, ive just been in shed to find water every  where  :'(  .. the in /out  connections on di vessel are dripping water out faster than dripping into my storage tank  :'(  ..  any ideas guys why its doing this,  :'( :'( :-\,, kind regards , Shaun..

sounds like the male connections
need tightening
or a few wraps of pte tape on thge threads  ;)

I had this all the time, its not your male connectors, its the female ones that snap-on to these! if u look into them there is only 2-3 locking clips inside and when the hose is slightly off flush they leek! U can either get the brass type as these ave 5 locking ball bearings in them. Or take out the 3/4 in male in/out connectors u already have and change them to the fixed elbow type so u can attach a standard hose with jubilee clips to - then put about a 6inch hose length on each side and then use the screw together type hose to hose connectors and this will stop the leek. good luck m

Good find. I have been looking for these as my local shop onlt sells them for 1" pipe.

I presume 1/2" is correct for regular hose.

I have the same problem, looking at the quick claw sorry but what ones do you use??? i just cant see how they work.

You have two and join them together with a 1/4 turn.

Have you considered switching it to John Guest fittings?
