Every year response from leaflets goes down. It could be more competition or people just fed up of leaflets that go straight in the green box. Same old story though, if you get a ROI and a system in place then it's still worth doing.
It's not expensive, you just can't afford it.

I agree with Wynne, leaflet are not as good as the used to be, 12yrs a go I was keeping busy on 12k leaflets a month now it takes a min of 20k

i blame it on the pizza menu and charity bags that are now getting put of on a weekly basis.

and strangely enough I think the new high quality leaflets that are now being used can make matters worse they can be over looked as another pizza menu.

I'm even thinking of trying a cheap single colour handmade leaflet that looks amateurish but will stand out

Whenever I go out to leaflet it doesn't matter where i go, I start leafleting get round the corner and theres some t**t in front of me with pizza/indian etc leaflets.

I tend to get back in the van and try and find another area.

Had an idea the other day what about having a basic stain removal guide on back of leaflet?? Yeah its using up half your leaflet but do you think more people may keep your leaflet?

another thing is you need to be more creative and target the leaflet to where they are going or the time of  the month

I have made a partly blank leaflet that can have text added with MS paint to suit the situation and special offers can be used targeted where the leaflet is going.... so I can order 2000 with a special offer aimed at one small village or with a special offer ending 7days away
