Scratched stainless steel hob.

Today i was cleaning at a house and the cooker was badly scratched. (not by me) Any ideas how to get it out or is it a permanent feature???

try Peek metal polish it worked for me its in a tube and I puchased it from a hardware shop. :)

you need a plastic surgeon, they get scratches out all the time

It simply depends on how deep the scratches are, just like a car if the scratches are light they will probably buff out (in straight lines) with progressively finer compounds. It does depend if its a satin or mirror finish.
Everyone seems normal untill you get to know them!
