commercial round New
« on: June 17, 2011, 10:25:33 pm »
Right lads, I have a headache, a good one though, I have just taking over a commercial round, it is about %%k per year and a bit more subbing from my brother but I can't make up my mind how to schedule it in. it is mostly in a city centre with parking at 2.60 per hour.

so I could say spend a day a week in the city and stump up for parking all day or go more often get most of it done early morning and only pay for parking for an hour or so  some of it can be done on weekends so that isn't a problem, and a lot of it is internal so any rank weather days it can be done then.

or for the first month just go through on every available morning until it is completed then I will know the jobs a bit better and be able to plan them out for the future

anyway your thoughts on how you would schedule it in

answers from the lads that do commercial would be appreciated, and the city is only 20 odd miles away

Do you have any one working for you now ? . . . if not it might be worth considering taking on somone part time so they can help with the workload ?

im do about 3 hours commercial every morning.  i've had a word with the parking guys and theyre fine for me to park anywhere, as long as i dont take the p!  They say 'its hard for you to park anywhere' and they just walk past me.  i'll always leave a note on the car saying where im working and theyll come find me if needs be.  always do it in the morning though, streets full of pedestrians can get incredibly annoying, and make sure youve got a bright coloured bucket!
