Gosh, aren't you keen for it to fail, Hydro!

I was desperately hoping it'd work and that Lee would roll it out into my area.  I'd have bought any amount of work for 1.5 x clean price.  They would have been customers motivated to call in and would have been pre-sold on the price.

The attitude on this forum to anyone trying to make a success of what they do is, frankly, pitiful.

Yeah, you didn't mean what you said, did you?  You just typed a bitter remark without meaning it at all.

Typical forum behaviour - someone makes a stupid arsy comment and then denies that it was meant that way.

I'm not bothered by it, just aware of it and the silly way he's trying to wriggle out of anyone thinking he's at fault for it.

Now, the two of you need to relax and live with the fact that Hydro got caught being a tosspot.

No he didnt. He just said what he thinks. He isnt the only one I'd imagine. If it was as rip-roaring a success that Lee used to enthuse about then he'd be back on here posting the success of the project. Hydro was probably closer to the truth than you're prepared to accept.

According to you, you can't keep up with so many new enquiries, all at top notch prices too, so why on earth would you want to but "any amount" of work? ;D ;D

I'm seeing a helpfull attitude from this forum for guys to make a success of what they do....i.e window cleaning.
Lee with his project X is expecting to make a fast buck through a marketing campaign by selling his work on. Lee may of been better placed asking for advice and feedback on a pureley business orientated forum, but he needed to tout it to his potential customers here. Hence he gets the response he does after saying he's just bought a Porsche after his accountant gave him the all clear and he's in the office all day!! Not the sort of pre marketing info i'd give out, but hey !! we're all different  ;D
Another group of guys that lend us money to buy our homes and businesses also come under such attacks and they are 'bankers' !!! I've no idea why !! ;D
In the meantime i'm sure if Lee asks for practical help or advice here then he'll recieve it. I'm sure you'll excuse me for laughing if he loses a load of money on his marketing campaign and doesn't get the customers in to sell to window cleaners. I mean what might happen? I can only think of the worst, there's gonna be people in his area that will have dirty windows for years and years and never think to look for a window cleaner!!! Pays ya money and takes ya chances !!! Life can't be that tough for him, he can always sell his car !!!!

lee to be honest, I wish you all the luck in the world, but I for one wouldn't pay one penny for work, but if folk are fair play well done I just don't see the need, get your own work and pay nothing is my motto
