I've got some Craftex in the garage it's a bit sticky IMO I think Prochem fabric seal is a better product, don't forget about Kev Lombes when he didn't some solvent protecting without a mask and was off work for a few days.

why a solvent protector?

I'm a big lover of Craftex waterbased concentrate protector, it does a good job and it the most economical I've found.

Doug,

I have found protectnano from Solutions  to be suitable for many dry clean only fabrics. I usually do 2 x fine mist coats. I haven't touched solvent based protector for years. The smell is bad news for anyone in the vicinity.

I agree Nigel, I'm not sure Doug will go for Nano  ;) if you are looking for a branded protector Prochem do some decent ones but Chemspec do some stonkers.

Hi Guys

Thanks for the replies.

I need solvent because i did a trial and they much preferred the solvent based one.

They are taking the chairs to a loading bay  so I will have a well ventillated area as it has open grill doors.

Cheers
