[Pole 2 Pole]

Whenever(but not always) I turn the ignition off on my 52 plate combo I get 4 really loud beeps. Can someone please tell me why oh why it happens?

I had a 54 combo, it never beeped but certainly leaked.

Spoke to my mate at Vauxhall and he has no idea, that helps!

 But perhaps it happens when you park up with the indicators on, so when you take out the key it lets you know because with the indicator on with no key in ignition it will leave on a sidelight. Mine does this but beeps until you put the indicator switch back to the off position

Thankyou for all the answers but i think it's a no to all the replies so far. It seems to be coming from the passenger side near to the bonnet. It never used to make the noise at all but now it's every day. Please keep your thoughts coming. Even Wilde Coyote

Just typed this on google "vauxhall combo power sounder" and I think it might well be your problem, back up battery in the power sounder failing, new battery required, but take take this as gospel, just a possible answer

Dont think its the main battery, I guess its part of an alarm perhaps?

No worries, cant happen too often to combo's because my mate who works for vauxhall is normally pretty good with faults and he had no idea!

My 56 plate-ex British Gas- has been laid up twice in last few weeks and latest problem is the Brain. That is located passenger side; pray it isn't that!!!! Bag of piggin manure the damn thing.

ive got a 03 plate combe but never had that happen (yet) but it leaks water all over the passenger foot-well everytime it rains or after it rains, must be collecting behind the dash somehow!
