well after 3years at wfp ive now moved 90% of my round over to wfp,the other 10% is shops and houses that dont come good doing wfp.

new custys are told wfp or nothing,if they dont like it then they get given a number of my friend who trad.

wish i now converted then all at once but for one thing and another never did.


so for anyone swapping over do the whole lot staight away.

i converted all mine in one go!!all tops,some ground floor.then moved to 80%WFP/20%TRAD.it was hard work and frustrating but its very good now!only lost 4 customers as a direct result of the pole and ive picked up many more without canvassing/leafleting.

best move i ever made and now finally im going from trolley to van mount next week!!!

still a learning curve even though ive been wfp just over a year now.

Maybe a bit of a mistake unless you have loads of work. I still do some trad as I choose the best method for the job and charge accordingly. Some of my trad work pays better than anything else as they pay for the service.

just turned up aqnd done them,and explained how it worked,

lost one after 6mths of cleaning here windows wfp.her reason quote was"they are clean but i dont like them left wet" donttttttttttttttt.....................................
pior to that she was a custy for 5years.

as with truning custys down if cant be done wfp,i really take a good look at the job,and weigh up the options,ie is it worth it getting ladders out etc,before passing it on.

and yes i do have a load of work for the 2 of us.

some ground floor work is done trad as its easier but i certainly dont take on new work that requires me to climb up a ladder to every top window to clean it!what an old fashioned dangerous way to go about my work?

besides wfp has made me lazy!i really cant be bothered getting the ladders off.i only use them a few times a week these days usually for a locked gate or flat roof!
