I looked into cleaning solar panels, so contacted a friend who works for an instalation company and was told cleaning them is a big NO.
Aparently it scratches them. I didnt fancy being sued by loads of irate customers so dropped the idea.

i see the solars fitted to no end of these new 3 storey bug-hutch type homes that are commonly built now.  id think the angle needed to get to them would be a no-go

i thought about adding solar panel cleaning to my services,but was a little worried about scratching them,but have read that they should be cleaned using water run through a DI,hard water a no no!,clean using a soft brush & low pressure rinse,regular cleaning of 2/3 cleans per year or the power can drop by anything upto 25%.
